BMW MINI New in-car entertainment system - MINI Sounds

BMW MINI have announced new technology that we could soon see in the popular car. MINI say the system is ready to roll in terms of production however they are holding back while the market is prepared and the reaction is gauged.

The clever new system dynamically changes the music based on your driving style and situation. The examples given including driving fast increases bass line intensity whereas applying the brakes would fade the bass out. Steering would mix in and out tracks when a set speed is chosen and using the car features like indicators would allow for styles to be changed.

The uses might be seen as limited but I wouldn't be surprised to see artist collaborations with MINI if or indeed when, this system is available as an option.
