It will be unveiled at the FrankFurt motor show 2009. The front of the mini being near on identical to the other models in the BMW MINI range it's at the back where it becomes a new look! With an aluminium roof "cap" with a wrap around the rear looks completely different. Inside as you'd expect there are only two front seats nearly touching the new lower roof.
Under the bonnet the usual ponnies come from a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine that produces 211 hp and 260Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque. The BMW MINI Coupe concept also features an overboost function which can temporarily deliver a maximum of 280Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque. Considering that the JCW Mini runs from 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds, the BMW MINI Coupe should be able to do the same task in less than 6 seconds.
